Ben GIbson - Global Manager Director
Ben Gibson has worked in digital marketing for over 15 years, pioneering new strategies from the client, agency and technology provider sides of the business. Ben has helped leading international brands with their digital marketing strategies during positions at The Search Agency, lastminute.com, LookSmart, The Technology Works and The Search Works. In 2009, Ben joined The Search Agency to launch its European arm. During his tenure, the organization has grown to be one of Europe's leading digital agencies and technology providers for both national and local campaigns, working with such brands as Yellow Pages, the BBC and SLH. In February 2013, Ben moved to The Search Agency's headquarters in Los Angeles to lead the global development of AdMax Local, the world's first fully automated local digital marketing platform that enables businesses to run high quality and profitable local search campaigns driven to responsive websites with SEO, tracking and conversion optimization built-in. Ben has launched businesses and led teams across the globe in Europe, Japan and the Asia Pacific region.
Annette Tonti – SVP Business Development
Annette joined AdMax Local in 2014 when her mobile web company MoFuse was acquired by The Search Agency. As Senior Vice President, SaaS Platforms, Annette is responsible for North American Business Development. Previously she was Co-Founder and CEO of Bluestreak, Inc. where she built a company that was an early entrant in rich media advertising. She served as Executive Producer, Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Media Laboratory. Prior to MIT, Ms. Tonti was Vice President, Executive Director Vanguard, a global innovation strategy advisory service for senior executives. She served on the board of the Harvard Business School’s Cyberposium for 2 years. Annette was named 2011 “Mobile Women to Watch” by Mobile Marketer. Annette is currently an Advisor for Brown University’s Program In Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship.
Jeff Brown – VP, Engineering
Jeff joined AdMax Local in 2012 as the Quality Assurance Manager and has since been promoted to Vice President of Engineering. Jeff is responsible for managing AdMax Local's worldwide development, quality assurance, technical support and IT teams as they create, deliver and support best-in-class local, digital, marketing solutions. Jeff has over 20 years of experience in software development with various roles in quality assurance, engineering and project management. Prior to joining AdMax Local, Jeff worked at APC/Schneider Electric for 20 years delivering world-class data center management and monitoring software. Jeff holds a BA in English from The University of Rhode Island.
Jon Baker – Client Services Director
Jon has been with AdMax Local since 2015 as the Client Services Director of North America. Jon’s experience is primarily account management, sales and business development in the digital media space. He worked previously for A.H. Belo and The New York Times Company, where he was responsible for selling and managing digital advertising initiatives for major accounts. Jon also has experience with SaaS platforms, when he was a Client Success Manager for Astonish, a sales and marketing platform specific to the insurance industry. Jon earned his Bachelor’s degree from Hofstra University in 1993 and his MBA from Johnson & Wales University in 2011.
